Extremely Rapid Product Development

SITUATION
An international company would like to expand their market share in a new country. At that time, they already had presence in eight countries but would like to aggressively launch five new products within 5 months window.

 PROBLEM
Manufacturing facility could only use certain type of raw materials. All formulas development effort needed to be done in 4 days period and presented to senior management be accepted for next step (industrial trial).

 SOLUTION
Touring manufacturing facility first helped identifying opportunity to introduce different type of raw materials in a way that the company/manufacturing plant had never tried before. We did a plant trial and it worked. By doing this, we designed formulas with less expensive raw materials. Developed nine formulations that were accepted within four-day periods to be trialed in the industrial plant test.

 BENEFITS
Six formulations were chosen for first production. Products were launched on time and accepted in the main grocery chain and client was happy with the whole process.
