DEVELOP PRIVATE LABEL BRANDS FOR RETAIL CHAIN

SITUATION
A large retail Grocery Chain corporate purchasing reached out to a client to make private label seafood finishing sauce and steak sauces to merchandise on and around their seafood and meat counters.

PROBLEM
The client didn’t have the formulations or a plant to make these sauces.

SOLUTION
Food Forward Consulting was contacted to develop the innovative seafood finishing sauces and steak sauces. Prototypes were produced and shown to the Grocery Chain buyers. A total of seven sauces were approved. A contract manufacturer was identified and production took place in a timely manner to get these products to market. Grocery Chain was thrilled with the results.
