SITUATION
A recognized brand in the natural frozen foods sector wanted to venture outside of their existing form factor to launch a new line of low-carb, delicious and authentic convenient meals.

PROBLEM
Developing a line of delicious and authentic frozen entrees without the use of traditional grains posed initial development challenges for our client’s internal team.

 SOLUTION
Using the Power of Taste and our internal team of Food Scientists and Culinarians, CCDI developed four grain-free frozen entrees that delivered on satiating, low carb and delicious while maintaining a low-cost target. We also conducted the ingredient sourcing, nutritional analysis, and generated cost cards of the final products.

BENEFITS
Launched a line of better-for-you low carb frozen entrees that added to our client’s incremental growth and increased their market share within the natural food sector.
