Consumer Product Stick Pack Tea Beverage

Situation

The founder wanted to replicate an herbal infusion that he had learned about in a documentary. The forager in the documentary purportedly lived to be 128 years old due to the daily consumption of his foraged botanical tea.

Problem

An exact flavor of the liquid tea needed to be performed as well as determining what compounds likely contributed to the efficacy of the supplement system.

Solution

A product was developed that met the critical cost requirements while being profitable to self-distribute through e-commerce.  The decision was made to produce a ready-to-mix, single dosage stick pack.   A complex supply chain was designed to deliver powderized ingredients to be blended at a stick-pack co-packer, containing costs, extending shelf-life and allowing for an economical Direct to Consumer Distribution system.
