Packaging of whole baby carrot with dip mix

Situation

A major grower packer of fresh carrots planned to enter the individual serving, baby carrot plus dressing market. They required developing a specification for packaging *with specific atmosphere transmission as well as packaging that would support a distinctive and consumer friendly, easy to open package.

Problem

Develop compatible packaging materials that would both support the high speed packaging and labeling equipment as well as meet the structural, physical and cosmetic demands of the production and marketing departments.

Solution

Recommended, tested, specified and supplied a transparent semi-rigid forming film, colorfully printed, pealable, lidding and automated label for the new product.
